The Little Issues E-newsletter #488 – Life, laughter, and many nice meals!

Welcome to the weekend, my pals! I’m spending the day slowly catching up on work and planning to get out for a stroll this afternoon, too. I really like lazy days like right this moment. The chances are good that there shall be a puzzle in my future as effectively.

ON THE BLOGS THIS WEEK: Half a field of pasta, a pound of sausage, and a few inexperienced cabbage that was tucked within the fridge added as much as a profitable last-minute meal. This sausage pasta was such successful with my household that it’s turn out to be a daily participant in our dinner rotation over the previous few years.

Brimming with juicy pineapple and colourful bell peppers, this pineapple chicken stir fry is a little bit bit tangy, a little bit bit candy, fairly to have a look at, and completely filled with taste. (I’m making it tonight, subbing shrimp for the hen – can’t wait!)

These steak kabobs are calling my title once more. The steak rests in a easy Asian-inspired marinade for a couple of minutes earlier than being skewered together with slices of colourful bell peppers and crimson onions.

Creamy mushroom pasta is cream sauce perfection with sauteed mushrooms, garlic, parmesan cheese, and spaghetti noodles. I wish to serve this with smashed Brussels Sprouts or these extra crispy roasted green beans.

Peanut butter oatmeal balls pack a punch of wealthy peanut butter with the earthy style of oats and that trace of sweetness all of us crave. With the addition of a handful of chocolate chips and a few mini M&M’s, these are a candy deal with you’ll be making typically.

These chewy, dense, peanut butter cookies are an unforgettable reminiscence from my childhood. Made with simply an egg, a scant cup of peanut butter, and a cup of sugar, 3 ingredient peanut butter cookies are an old style cookie that everybody loves.

Should you or somebody you recognize loves Butterfinger sweet bars, that is about to turn out to be their all-time favourite ice cream. Butterfinger ice cream is swirled with flakes of Butterfinger sweet bars and loaded with bite-sized chunks of sweet bar too!

What I’m CRAVING: My good friend Christi’s insanely scrumptious chocolate peanut butter cookies. Once I let you know that these are the most effective chocolate cookies I’ve ever tasted, I’m not being dramatic and even remotely exaggerating. She first shared them with me about ten years in the past, and they’re firmly established now as the best chocolate peanut butter mixture potential.

My FAVORITE THINGS this week are these silk hair scrunchies. I purchased these in 2019 and have in all probability used them 3-7 days every week ever since. That unique set lastly stretched out sufficient that I purchased a brand new set final month. They’re nonetheless in nice situation, just a bit extra stretched out than I like. I extremely suggest them when you battle with hair breakage or simply need to be extra light in your hair. I can put on my hair again all day lengthy with these, and there’ll barely be a crease in my hair once I pull them out.

What I’m LISTENING to: Great God Who Saves by Laura Story. Your complete album is a peace-filled reward, and I’m actually having fun with it.

“Above all, love one another deeply, as a result of love covers over a large number of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8 NIV

Wishing you a stunning week full of little issues that make you smile!
