Watch NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 astronauts return to Earth

The astronauts a part of SpaceX’s Crew-10 mission are on their way back home. Their Dragon capsule referred to as Endurance is scheduled to splash down at roughly 11:33 AM Jap day off the coast of California. Endurance undocked from the Worldwide Area Station at 6:15PM Jap on August 8 with NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, Japan Aerospace Exploration Company (JAXA) astronaut Takuya Onishi and Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov onboard. They stayed on the ISS for five months and left per week after Crew-11 arrived to take their place.

Whereas they have been on the house station, Crew-10 helped increase our data on the physiological and psychological changes people endure on long-duration missions that vary from weeks to a 12 months. Additionally they noticed how blood flows from the mind to the guts in microgravity, among the many different research and experiments they carried out.

As NASA notes, this will likely be its first Industrial Crew mission to splash down into the Pacific Ocean, as earlier capsules splashed down off the coast of Florida. NASA will broadcast the crew’s return, with its protection beginning at 10:15AM right this moment, August 9.
